Mike Kuniavsky on IoT: “Stop making devices, start making services”

Mike Kuniavsky is a well-known entrepreneur and thinker on Internet of Things concepts. His blog, Orange Cone, is an awesome resource for information pills about internet-connected real-world objects. In a recent presentation called “Service avatars” he claimed that Internet of Things designers should stop thinking about creating devices and start thinking about conceiving full integrated products. I completely agree with this vision, which by the way, is the model Apple follows with iPod + iTunes: a complete ecosystem for full servicing users.
